Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”, also serving as the End User License Agreement) govern your use of The Backfield Lab (the “App”), provided by Kuzo Labs. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

The App is an informational, entertainment, and self-assessment tool. You enter athletic combine measurements and the App returns estimated attribute scores, an overall rating, an archetype, and training-focus suggestions. These outputs are estimates for educational and motivational purposes only. They are not a guarantee of athletic performance, recruitment, scholarship, or any specific outcome, and are not professional, medical, or training advice. Always consult a qualified coach or physician before changing training.

2. Eligibility

The App is intended for athletes aged 13 and older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have a parent or guardian’s permission to use the App and to make any purchase.

3. Subscriptions & auto-renewal

Some features require a paid auto-renewing subscription. The following applies to purchases made through the Apple App Store:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription automatically renews at the price and interval shown on the purchase screen (for example, annual or weekly) unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renew, in your device’s Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions at any time after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Prices are shown in the App at the point of purchase and may vary by region. We may change pricing for future periods; changes do not affect a period already paid for.

4. In-app purchases (consumables)

The App may offer one-time, consumable purchases (such as additional re-rolls of your analysis). Consumables are delivered immediately and are generally non-refundable once used.

5. Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under their policies. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

6. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the App, and not to use it in any unlawful way.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kuzo Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any decisions made based on its estimates.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms as the App evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
